O-bit enjoy Manchester United’s triumphant Carling Cup Win at Wembley
Customers and employees of O-bit telecom gathered last Weekend, to watch Manchester United’s 2-1 victory against underdogs Aston Villa. Villa had a disappointing loss, after initially taking the lead just five minutes into the game.
The O-bit group, which included customers from Intralan, Du-Tel and Orange Stripe, were able to watch the game from the O-bit Corporate Box, giving them an excellent view of the game. It was a boy’s day out, with CEO Dave Breith bringing along his young son also.
“It was a truly amazing day” said Hayden Sinfield, who attended from Du-Tel. “My colleague Roger and I had a great day on Sunday, good food, great company and a wonderful result – what more could you ask for?! It was really great to be acknowledged as one of O-bit’s top customers, and I’m really thankful they chose to invite us, it was a really memorable day.”
Host for the day, CEO Dave Breith said, “We’re really keen for all these events to be successful – but this being the Carling Cup it felt like one of the more important days spent in the corporate box. I’m really glad that everyone had a fantastic time! It’s really set the bar for future events we’ll have here at Wembley”.
O-bit have big plans for the use of their box over the next year, planning to host customer events there for games such as the FA Cup Final and musical performances by bands including Green Day and Muse. At the Convergence Summit North this March they will even be giving away two box tickets for the FA Cup Final to one lucky winner who visits their stand.
