O-bit Telecom Entrust Generator Associates to make them truly “that bit better”

O-bit Telecom have gone one step further to providing a reliable and supported service to their customers, installing a UPS and Generator Backup System at their main headquarters in Buckinghamshire.

With sales of over £15m, Backup power is vital to O-bit, since one of the main reasons so many resellers and partners choose them is because they boast their own Voice Network, Broadband Network and offer dedicated internet access. The generator will be deployed to back-up O-bit’s CoLo/Rack Space, used as part of its ‘Hostwise’ offering.

O-bit entrusted the project to Generator Associates, who installed a newer and more powerful backup facility at O-bit House. An enclosed auto-mains failure diesel generator was carefully installed, along with a UPS system complete with online double conversion, inverter, bypass switch and paralleling kit – giving O-bit and its customers just the support they need!
