O-bit Look back on a Year Gone By, and Look ahead to 2010!
It’s been another exciting year at O-bit telecom, and CEO Dave Breith is looking back at the past year at the company.
“It was tough trying to achieve our aggressive targets in the financial climate of the past twelve months”, says Dave, “and sales were not what we had anticipated.” The company found itself suffering from bad debt for the first time in its history, following on from its past successes – one cannot help but wonder if they were becoming victims of their own previous good fortune.
Breith recalls the period saying, “understanding what we were going through, we picked up our game and drove sales hard”, and the company has grown because of it. The entire company moved to their new home, O-bit House, along with multiple new additions to its ever growing team.
So what does the future hold for the High Wycombe based telecoms company? “2010 is going to be without a shadow of a doubt, the most exciting year yet”, comments it’s CEO, “with yet another network installed we are set to increase our revenues tenfold”. The New Year will also see O-bit expanding outside the UK into North America, with staff and offices in place in Florida. This will coincide with the launch of ERP software Ask Merlin and the second phase of the VoIP product Purple Networx.
The future does seem bright, the company’s sale’s pipeline has never been so big with confirmation of large revenues committed already to Q1. All staff members are geared up and raring to go with the prospect of 2010 becoming closer, Dave is equally positive about his team saying, “with all staff happy and secure in the business we are already a large way to achieving next year’s targets”.
